CSI Leasing Acquires Two Companies in Norway, Launches New Subsidiary

October 4, 2021

CSI Leasing, Inc. (CSI), headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, one of the largest independent equipment leasing companies in the world, recently announced the acquisition of two companies in Norway, Leasepartner AS and Leasemaker AS. The company now has leasing subsidiaries in 10 European countries and services customers in more than 50 countries worldwide.

CSI is merging the two companies into one new entity based in Oslo. All employees will join CSI from the acquired entities. Day-to-day operations for the companies will be jointly managed by Kenneth Mitsem and David Rognstad.

“We are thrilled to welcome our new Norwegian colleagues to the CSI team,” said Javier Heredia, senior managing director of Europe. “Not only will these acquisitions increase CSI’s business in Norway, but we hope to leverage our local presence to further expand into the rest of the Nordic region, including Sweden, Finland and Denmark. I am confident that Kenneth and David’s leadership will be key to our success.”

Co-founded and owned by Kenneth and David, Leasepartner AS has been in the Nordic leasing market since 2006. With core values that include accountability, cooperation and innovation, their main focus has been to provide tailor-made solutions based on customer needs. In addition to Leasepartner AS, Kenneth was head of enterprise sales for Telia Finance Norway, country manager for Kaupthing Finans NUF and senior sales officer for IT Finans AS. David brings more than 25 years of leasing and finance experience to CSI. Previously, he was general manager of TeliaSonera Finance Norway, CEO of IT Finans AS, and held various managerial roles at Telia Finans NUF.

“We are excited to join CSI for many reasons. One key element is to provide sustainable IT leasing solutions in the Nordics, along with the unique capability to provide international lease options for Nordic companies with a global footprint,” said Kenneth and David in a joint statement. “We think CSI is a perfect match for us and believe that CSI’s presence in the Nordics will be a great benefit to our existing and new customers.”

In addition to leasing, CSI’s subsidiary, EPC, offers end-of-life IT asset disposal solutions that provide data sanitization, remarketing and recycling for technology equipment with a vast network of facilities strategically located around the world.
